STAFF BIO:

Abdul Sero is the Co-Founder and the Executive Director of Ten Thousand lakes Foundation. Abdul has
worked in the nonprofit sector for the past 10 years. Abdul has worked with American RedCross,
University of Minnesota, and Pillsbury United Communities holding different positions. He also, coach’s
and mentors’ youth in the community. Abdul has passion bringing communities together and help bring
resources to communities in need. Abdul has worked with American RedCross, University of Minnesota,
and Pillsbury United Communities in various different positions. He has also coached and mentored

youth in the community for the last 5 years. Abdul is passionate about bringing communities together
and bringing resources to communities in need.

Abdulfatah Wabe is the co- founder and CEO of Ten Thousand Lakes Foundation. He started the
organization because he believes in the power of mentorship and education to change lives. Abdulfatah
has been working in the youth development area for the last ten years, focusing on education and sport.
He is also a soccer coach and spends time in team development, mentoring, and helping youth in his
community thrive. His goal is to help students who don’t have the same opportunities as their peers due
to a lack of resources or financial means get into university and to provide them with tools that will
enable them to thrive!
