Bridging The Gap

Who we are

Ten Thousand Lakes Foundation fosters growth through athletics and STEM programs, supporting East African immigrant youth in St. Paul with mentorship and opportunities for personal development.

Girls Empowerment Program

Our Women’s Program supports immigrant women and girls in building community, leadership, life skills, and solutions to problems they see and define from their lives.

TTL Foundation strives to invest in women-led solutions to build leadership, increase life skills, boost academic success, and ensure that post-secondary enrollment will lead to economic opportunity. Our Women’s Program was created by and for immigrant women and girls. It includes one-on-one mentorship and large-group activities focused on giving women and girls opportunities to lead, make their voices heard, and come together to make their communities better.
